The robotics team visited MBDA in Stevenage to compete in the preliminary event for the annual Robot Rumble Competition. They had to take part in a driver challenge using their electronic robot which has been designed and built over the last few weeks to compete on a competition circuit testing their speed and accuracy.

Stanborough Students Raise the Flag for Armed Forces

Stanborough Praised by Ofsted

Stanborough hosted two master classes for year 5 & 6 students from our local primary schools. There were 38 students participating from 4 schools including: Applecroft, Holwell, Swallow Dell and Green Lanes. Students were selected by their Primary schools because they have showed an aptitude for Computing.

Stanborough had another fantastic District Athletics event this year.  We took around 100 students to Gosling from Years

7 -13. There were 12 schools taking part from the Mid Herts District. For many of the younger students it was their first chance to experience a large athletics event. All of the track events had heats and then finals, and students needed to finish in the top 6 positions to score points in their events.
