Thursday 9th October saw the annual extravaganza of fancy dress, fun and money raising.  This year, as you know, all money raised throughout the year is going to the ‘Great Ormond Street Hospital’ charity.

Bosch Roadshow visits Stanborough

Over the summer (and into September too), students from Years 7, 8 and 9 shed blood, sweat and tears over some of the best science projects in Hertfordshire. On Friday 25th September, these enthusiastic students congregated as we held Stanborough School’s first Science Fair. The quality was fantastic and the turnout brilliant (especially from the new Year 7’s).

Success at Stanborough’s First Science Fair

10 students in Year 9 and 10 from Stanborough School travelled to Los Angeles, USA for a World Regional Robotics Competition.

The two teams, called Sterling Squires and Sterling Royals, set up a blog and twitter feed to allow fellow students, staff and parents to follow their progress throughout the trip.

Year 7 students spent the day at Cuffley camp 7A, 7B and 7H went on Wednesday and 7K, 7O and 7S went on Thursday.

The coaches left, filled with students who were excited at the thought of spending the day outside of the classroom. The aim of the day was for everyone in each tutor group to get to know their peers better and to learn to work as a team.
