APPEARANCE

Hairstyle & Accessories
There should be no extremes of hairstyles in terms of colour or cut.

One small plain stud or sleeper is allowed in the lower lobe of each ear.

Watches are allowed, but there should be no other jewellery visible.

 

Uniform

We are proud of our standards and our uniform is a symbol of those standards so students are encouraged to wear it with pride. Uniform is compulsory for all students below Sixth Form. Full and correct uniform is expected at all times. Basic items are:

Sweatshirt
Green with school logo

Shirt
White short sleeved polo shirt with school
logo

Trousers/Skirt
Black with school logo.
Skirt must be knee length

Shoes
Black

Socks
Black or white socks, black or neutral tights

Coat
Plain black outdoor coat

Post-16 Dress Code
The Dress Code for the Sixth Form is ‘smart’. Students do not wear jeans, T-shirts or trainers, and boys wear a shirt with a collar.

School bags are available to buy from John Cheatle and should be large enough to carry an A4 folder and the following items:

Personal Organiser
Pencil Case containing:
Pens, Pencils & Rubber, Colouring Pencils. Highlighter Pen, Pencil Sharpener, Pair of Compasses, Ruler, Protractor/Angle Measure
Reading Book
Calculator

Equipment can be purchased in the school study shop/LRC.


PE Kit (Could be carried in separate bag)

Students would also benefit from having a pocket English dictionary
