Since Year 7 we have been involved in the process of teaching, learning and assessing in each of the subject areas. During the next two years the focus will be on developing your ability to turn that knowledge and understanding into the highest examination results possible.

Throughout Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 the school regularly monitors the current attainment and progress of your efforts to reach your potential. We also take every opportunity to motivate students.

Practical Help With Revision
All research indicates that students learn by “doing” rather than just reading. Note taking and reducing information to card and memorising it is essential but a variety of methods will help to improve your ability to retain information and make the tedious element of revision seem less severe. Use the revision schedules with revision guides, produced by departments, to determine which areas need to be studied.
