House System

Administration
Points are awarded by staff signing in Personal Organisers, stating why points were awarded (eg which subject/tutor group/citizenship).

Tutors sign a voucher (available from the office) for every 10 reward points.

The voucher is entered in the Stanborough Lottery Draw that takes place at the end of each term and prizes are claimed at the school office.

Subject prizes are presented in Year assemblies.

House points will be allocated with every voucher issued.

Remember
“points mean
prizes!

Rewards & Sanctions

Our Reward System provides positive consequences for good behaviour and achievement.

You can earn Reward Points for excellent effort, achievement, attendance, citizenship and leadership.

Your good behaviour, effort and achievement are also acknowledged through letters and telephone calls to parents; through written comments on your work and through meetings between you and senior members of staff.

Your attitude towards learning is commented on in the annual Record of Progress, discussed with parents and considered by you and your tutor in regular discussions.

The rewards system is continuously monitored and has been developed by the Student Council to incorporate rewards as part of the House System.
